Enjoy our remarkably light and crispy Kyoto-style tempura, made from Kyoto’s abundance of ingredients such as seasonal local vegetables and wild plants, seafood from Wakasa Bay and the Seto Inland Sea, and freshwater fish from Lake Biwa.

Our famous Kyoto-style tempura mainly consists of seafood such as live tiger prawns, as well as Kyoto vegetables, wild plants, and root vegetables. It starts with a seasonal appetizer, followed by sashimi, a side dish, a special salad, and a choice of rice dish - tembara rice bowl or tempura chazuke.
